About The Authors
Blair Trosper
I am a full time creative producer for a major radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina. In the industry, it’s called “imaging director”. Once you’ve wrapped your head around the paradox of “image” for radio, keep reading. I’m a musician by teaching, and an audio engineer/producer by career. So far, it’s mostly centered around radio. However, I also compose music for TV and film, I’m an avid computer programmer, and I’m starting to dabble in video and special effects. (I’m great at crashing After Effects!)
My relationship with Audition goes all the way back to Cool Edit 96 (“the shareware era”). I went from playing back wacky sound effects on a 25 megahertz SX chip with 4 megs of RAM to producing music, remixes, and entire scores on a quad core machine with dual monitors, insane amounts of RAM, and entirely too many 500 gigabyte SATA drives. As you can infer, I like to help others make better audio.
