About This Blog

Why I’m Doing This

We’re just out to have a little fun here and connect Audition users together. Teach, learn, network, share. That sort of thing.

I write as often as I can think of anything interesting to say, and I don’t necessarily confine my postings to Audition, but they’ll usually at least relate to digital audio in Audition.

There’s something here for everyone. Radio producers, musicians, procuders, engineers, post production, remixers, forensics, and good old fashioned amateur audio editors.

Remix Culture

The content on this blog, as noted in the footer, is licensed under Creative Commons. You’re free to do pretty much whatever you want with the content posted on this site as long as it’s not for commercial purposes, you credit us (not implying that you endorse us), and you also agree to share your use of our material in the same way.

Remix the audio I post. Derive material into something of your own. Quote text directly in your blog and modify it all you want. The idea is to share and create. That’s what artists should do. I think it’s important for a blogger like myself, then, to be completely transparent. If something on this site gives you an idea, I want you to be free to run with it without worry of being sued!

Corporate Culture

On that same note, Adobe has been genuinely encouraging to this site and its aims. Whereas some software companies might become comically litigious when someone posts a screen shot or mentions a trademark, but Adobe expressed support. I appreciate their willingness to give us the nod, and I respect their apparent philosophy of communities developed around their products.

You Can Play, Too
